Privacy
This covers the Go with Shloimy website and the Go with Shloimy iPhone app.
The short version
We collect nothing about you. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. The only information that ever reaches us is what you type into the Share form and choose to send.
What we collect
Only what you fill in on the Share page and submit: your message, and — if you choose to add them — your name, your email address, and any photos or files you attach. Every one of those fields is optional except the message itself.
Nothing is gathered in the background. We run no analytics, set no advertising or tracking cookies, and load no third-party fonts or scripts that would report your visit elsewhere. Reading this site or using the app leaves no record with us.
Where a submission goes
When you press send, your submission is passed to Web3Forms, a form-delivery service, which turns it into an email to Shloimy's family. Web3Forms handles it in transit and is covered by their own privacy policy, which commits them to protecting what passes through it to the same standard set out on this page: it is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared onward. We hold no database of our own.
What you send is read by his family. It is never sold, rented, or used for advertising, and it is not shared with anyone else. Nothing you send appears on this site unless the family decides to publish it, and then only with the name you gave. Ask us and we will remove it.
The app on your phone
Reminders are scheduled locally by your own device. No reminder is sent through a server, and we are never told that you set one, or when it goes off.
The recitation audio ships inside the app and plays from your phone. Nothing is streamed and we keep no record of what you play or when. Apart from sending the Share form, the app works with no network connection at all. It asks for no access to your microphone, camera, photos, contacts, or location.
Links to other sites
The Sefer Torah page links to Charidy, which runs the campaign and processes any donation. Once you are there you are on their site, under their privacy policy and their handling of payment details. We never see and never receive payment information.
Keeping it, and getting it deleted
A submission lives in the family's email inbox and nowhere else — there is no database, no export, no backup of our own. We keep messages for as long as they are meaningful to the family, which for a memorial may be indefinitely. Anything not worth keeping is deleted as it is read.
You can ask us to delete what you sent at any time, and you do not have to give a reason. Write to us through the feedback page or reply to any email you have had from us, and say what you sent and roughly when. We will delete it from the inbox and confirm to you that it is gone. If it had been published anywhere on this site, it comes down too.
There is nothing to withdraw consent for beyond that. We collect nothing in the background, so there is no profile, no tracking record and no setting to switch off — stopping is simply not sending anything.
Children
This is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from a child. If a child has sent something and you would like it removed, tell us and we will delete it.
Getting in touch
To ask what was sent, to have something removed, or to ask anything about this page, use the Share page and say so in the message. It reaches the same family inbox.
